With all this talk about swine flu, people are really getting nervous about being near anyone sick. Yes, it is offically on-campus. There are about 20 people related to the college, professors and students, who supposedly have swine flu. One of whom is my roomate. She looks so horrible and I feel so sorry for her. =< Devotions tonight consisted of adding security and the nurses numbers to our phones and talking about swine flu - the symptoms, the schools rules concerning it, meds to take etc. It was quite interesting. Just didn't want to forget this!
Oh, and the other day I had a wonderful talk with Mrs Gutwein, the dean of women here at Faith. So many things we talked about that just keep coming up in random ways and makes me want to shout for joy! I learned so much from that conversation and am still learning! I am also thanking God for my wonderful boyfriend who is constantly being patient with me and takes the time to explain things to me for the 100th time until it finally clicks for me. So happy with how we are growing in the Lord and how it was His plan for us to be able to help one another learn.
Now, I had best get on to study. Have a paper due on the 28th over the synagogue. Its actually a paper Im not forcing myself to do. Tomorrow is the blood drive here at Faith and Im going to attempt to donate blood. Last time they rejected me. Pretty much all boiled down to the fact that I don't eat enough meat. Been working on that so hopefully this time I will be able to donate! Ill try to update more often. Have a great week and stay healthy!
