Fun, FUn, and more FUN!

Ok so some of this may be "old news" but I want to share it anyway that way I can look back and remember it all => After Christmas, I came back to Ankeny to spend the entire day with "my" kids, Payton, Maddie, and Dylan Fay. It was seriously a blast! Mom was laughing at me because I told her I was so glad they go so many new toys for Christmas so that I...I mean, we can play with them. => When the kids got up on Monday morning, the first thing they all wanted to do was AquaSand. Now the box looked like loads of fun..yet, sand + water + 3 kids (and me =>) is bound to = well, a mess. However, it wasn't that bad and was quite fun. Dylan absolutly loves the little penguins that came with it and im pretty sure he was more excited about them than the sand+water part (but that was totally fine with his brother and sister!)


Another great toy was Dylan's guitar. Boy did he love giving us sweet lil concerts! You can't even see his hand in this picture because he is moving it so fast! (This picture was actually taken because he wanted to send it to my brother, Jonathan. He has never met him, but names his animals Jon, Jonathan, Nathan etc after him. I guess I must talk about him alot?)


The kids were full of energy, especially at lunch, and poor Daisy was worn out (or maybe its just that she is used to slepeing in her kennel all morning while they are in school...)


However, later that day after I dropped Payton off for basketball, both Maddie and Dylan took about a 20 minute power nap. I wasn't sure how long to let them sleep, but then the both bounced right up (very unusual for Dylan) after 20 mins and it was great.

I figured all the business of Christmas had finally caught up to them, but then that night all three of them woke up with the flu.... (Thankfully, I didn't get it..yet....)

So I didn't see them on Tuesday and Wednesday was pretty much a very very lazy morning. By afternoon, Maddie and Dylan were bouncing off the walls and entertaining each other by laughing at absolutly nothing (Jon and I used to do that all the time and it annoyed mom...payback?!) I tried to get a picture of their beautiful FULL OUT smiles, but that just encouraged them....bad idea.

Thursday Payton was gone to basketball and then to a friends house so Maddie, Dylan and I got out the legos. That was a blast. We played with legos pretty much the entire day! I don't even remember the last time I played with legos! And I have never had the priviledge of putting together the little kits Like the fire truck!! Way fun! (again, the picture was taken to send to Jon, although, I don't think any of this was given a name...)


Throughout the day, almost every day, I receive a picture or two of Ty from Becca. He is so cute! She said that he now likes roll so he can sleep on his side.

She was also telling me about his feet and how the shoes she bought for him are perfect fits..right now.

And how he has become quite the little thumb sucker...


Can't wait to see him again! Possibly tonight!! Enough for now, but Im SURE I will have tons more pictures to post by tomorrow!
