WOW! Its been forever since I've updated this! Classes, work and homework are keeping me really busy. Just finished the rough draft for a 6-page paper that is due Wednesday. I also have two tests this week and three the following week. Today has been a pretty good day as was this week, although it has been crazy busy. Monday (the 14th) was my birthday. I took the day off work because I was planning on spending it with my sisters. However, Rosanna came down with the flu and Rebecca decided to hang out with Jr so I hung out in my room doing homework. I actually got a lot done and it was relaxing. When Adam got off work, we went to the laundromat and continued doing homework until the laundry was done. Around 10:00, Tanya texted me and asked me to come to her room so I did and she and a few other girls had decided to give me a surprise "party." We had bowls of ice cream and mine had 19 candy corn "candles" in it. We all had fun being really crazy! Tuesday night after work, I went to the Inmans for supper like I do most every Tuesday and Hannah had made me a birthday cake so they all sang to me and I even got to blow out candles! I got back to the dorm in time for devos and Rosanna showed up along with a few cakes and my dormmates helped celebrate my birthday. Wednesday was the AWANA mock night at church and it was lots of fun. After the AWANA thing was over, I had an interview with a few of the deacons so I can become a watchcare member at Ankney Baptist Chruch. The interview went well and we were able to spend some time just talking and learning more about each other. Work has been pretty crazy recently with several kids getting sent home each day due to fevers and vomiting. We are enforcing a new policy concerning illnessess and several parents have had questions and complaints and since over half of our current staff has only worked there for two weeks or less, I am the one who the parents are going to after the other main teachers have left for the night (around 5:00). This morning I went with Adam, Hannah, Micah and Savannah Inman to a church in Des Moines that goes out and gathers a bunch of almost expired food and gives it to whoever wants it. It was fun hanging out with the kids for a few hours while waiting for the truck to get there. Well, I suppose this post is long enough and I had better get back to studying or something equally as important. Ill have to post pictures later since Im not using my computer. :)
