Day 11

11-11-10 - I am thankful for the many who have served and those who are currently serving our country in the military. Many have made great sacrifices; many have even given their lives for my protection and freedom.

I am thankful for a God who forgives. *big sigh* Its been a very challenging week in my devos.

I am thankful for the opportuinty to go calling. Many times I come away feeling down becuase we did not make any good contacts, yet I was reminded tonight that even if we only make one good contact all semester long, it was still worth it. And so it truly is.

I am thankful for this evening. For once I didn't have much homework that needed to be done and it has been a very relaxing time. (of course, I spent most of it sleeping =>)

I am thankful for random smiles from random people throughout the day. I love getting a smile versus a glare or frown or stoneface etc

I am thankful that this week is almost over and that I will get to see my Great Grandparents this weekedn. I am thankful that I am priviledged to know them as so many people my age did not get the chance to even know all four grandparents.
