Days 20-22 (oops! musta been a busy weekend!)

I just realized that I haven't updated my blog for a couple days and since I am still pretty busy I will just combine everthing into one post.

Saturday: 11-20-10 - I am thankful that I did not turn off my alarm and go back to sleep as I almost did! I would have missed out on a very stretching day (almost literally!)

I am thankful for the Weide family. I realized today that I have known them and been babysitting for them for about 2 years now! (Carsen totally started crying when his mom told him as I was leaving that this was the last time he would see me for quite awhile as the football season has ended for them. Dont think that has ever happened to me before and pretty sure it made up for the stressful day).

I am thankful for days like Saturday (when they are over =>) and for the opportunity I have to be thankful in ALL things (and for Josh who is very good at reminding me to do this).

I am thankful for family and the opportunity I had to see them a few times this weekend!

I am thankful for a great roomie! Someone who balances me out, challenges me to grow, is a great sounding board and much much more!


Sunday: 11-21-10 I am thankful to be back at my second home church, ABC. It always seems like I have been gone forever if I only miss one Sunday or maybe two. I love the people there and I know many of them care about me personally and that I am not just another name and face or just another college student.

I am thankful for random "minitry oppurtunities" even when I am extremely busy.

I am thankful for my father who is willing to spend his Sunday afternoon/evening helping his daughter with her car. Even sacrificing much of his sleep.

I am thankful for friends who are willing to solve problems Biblically.

I am thankful for my brother. How I miss hanging out with him! Love the random times that we have together.

I am thankful for people like the Hawks who are willing to answer God's call to missions.

I am thankful for the most random, good conversation with an old friend who I had lost touch with. Anything is possible with God!

I am thankful for sleep!


Monday: 11-22-10 - I am thankful that it was misting out this morning and not snowing.

I am thankful that I did not completely bomb my quizes this morning.

I am thankful for another challenging message in chapel today.

I am thankful that God has my life planned out and knows what the future holds for me.

I am thankful that I was able to get in a good nap before work today (and another one tonight - I don't know why I am so tired!)

I am thankful that soon I get to go home!!!

I am thankful that Dana is able to go home for Thanksgiving this year.

I am thankful for the professors here who care about students individually and don't just view this as a job.

I am thankful for God's healing and His transforming power in my life.

I am thankful that Dana and I balance each other out and are able to help each other out with various different things.

I am thankful for renewed friendships. Its so fun to see everyone so happy!!

I am thankful for my life and the many many opportunites to serve God every day!
