YAY! Im so excited! School starts up in about 16 days!!! About the only thing I am not excited for is the fact that my kids will also be going back to school...I will surely miss them! I will especially miss them while they are on vacation next week, but I am sure they will all have a blast. It has been a super fun summer. I would not have traded it for anything! Today was an especially sweet day. Maybe I was just in a super good mood or something, but I was laughing and teasing the kids all day and they were laughing and being funny and cute as well. It is so difficult to believe I have not even known them for a year yet! wow. I forget what life without them was like...but that is totally ok by me! I certainly never want to return to that either.
Dana comes to Iowa on the 16th..at least that is the tentative plan. Jon and I will be going to the Iowa State Fair on Thursday, I may get to go see Racoon River Bible Camp tomorrow evening, my Great-Grandma's 92nd birthday party is on Sunday and Lord willing, I will be going to Mason City on Monday to be with Brit for a bit! God is good. This summer has been incredibly busy working 4 jobs (approx 63 hrs/week), but it has also been a good one. I have learned a lot and it has been very enjoyable.
I would love to put up a bunch of pictures from the summer, but my computer freezes every time I try and I have no way to upload pictures when using the school computer...so until I get smart and figure it out, I guess all my posts will just be boring and pictureless.
I should get to bed anyway, it is after 11pm and I have a full 12 hour day of work plus an almost 2 hour drive to camp and then back => Have a great rest of the summer!! Live it for the LORD!
