Grundy County Fair

This is the first year is as long as I can remember that I won't be attending the Grundy County Fair. =< I completly lost track of which week was fair week and didn't ask any days off work, so here I am sitting in my apartment in Ankney looking at pictures from the fair. I do miss the crazy busy Sunday night last minute preparation of 4-H projects and the early Monday morning vegetable gathering and cleaning sessions - most of the time with Dad. The best part of 4-H though, in my opinion, was presenting it all before the judges and waiting patiently see what place my projects got. The hardest was waiting to see if any of my items went to State Fair and then the year that they did, I had to wait until the middle of August to see what they placed! You gotta love the Fair! Anyway, just saw some pictures on beckysblog that really made me miss fair. Guess Ill have to make up for it by definatly going to the State Fair...with friends!!
