February................

I feel like all I ever say in my posts are that time has flown...but its every bit as true now as it was the last time I said it. I honestly don't know how I had time to be bored while in college before. Although November was only..three months ago, I feel like it was a year ago already (well, it was last year, but that's beside the point!). Im still enjoying being with "my" kids every week and they continue to grow up (as kids tend to do lol). Its been so much fun to look back and see the kids that I met a year and a half ago and then see the kids that I now know. They have each grown in their own way soo much.
Payton (10) is so smart and so good at...everything? I enjoy having little conversations with him as we drive to and from school, home, practices etc. He is usually eager to share about his day and I enjoy listening. For basically the first year I knew him, he probably said all of...8 sentences to me lol (ok, thats an exaggeration). He loves basketball and pretty much every spot but soccer. He is very good at drawing although he doesn't think so. He can be really good with his siblings if he chooses to do so and his favorite thing to do after school is nap. Payton puts all of his effort into what he does..whether its schoolwork, sports, xbox games or planning an evening with friends.
Madisyn (8 going on 13) has such a sweet personality. She is constantly doing things for others mostly when not asked to =) She loves her family and friends and that is very evident in the many craft projects she makes. They are always either for her mom, dad or a friend, or are pictures of her family and friends. She had to decorate a lunch sack for her valentines party at school so she chose to decorate it by cutting out various colored hearts and writing the names of each family member (and me!!!) on the heart and then glued them onto her sack. She makes me smile so often. She would love for me to bring surprises every day...many times she doesn't even care what it is or if she likes it, she just wants me to bring something. =) She also does well on her homework and loves to read books to me.
Dylan (6) also can be very sweet. Or he can be very onry. =) Mom used to tell me that someday I would have onry kids, just like I was...and I guess Im going to get a double dose of onryness if I ever have kids of my own. But I don't mind =) Dylan is very easily excited...and also sometimes easily frustrated. He loves Wednesdays because he loves having a whole afternoon with just him and JJ. He favorite thing to do is make up new games where we pretend to be superheros and fight off the bad guys. It would be quite fun if I knew what all the superheros were supposed to do lol. His favorite TV show is now Tom and Jerry. He laughs soo hard at them! I enjoy sitting and watching him as he watches it because he is just too cute. His favorite snack is either ice cream or peanut butter sandwiches (2 please, one with crust and one without). Dylan is very good at math and reads everything he can (unless its an assignment, of course).

Dana and I, although still best friends, haven't had as much time as either of us would like to keep up on life. Our schedules always seem to be opposite. When she has class I have break. When she's at work, Im just getting off. When she goes to bed, Im just starting my homework. When she wakes up for classes, Im just heading to workout. It never fails. When she has a free weekend, I end up being gone or babysitting or something. I am so thankful that we get to eat breakfast and lunch together every Tuesday and Thursday!

Now this post would not be complete unless I said something about JJ (something more than just the fact that Dylan loves hanging out with him lol). Its crazy to realize that tomorrow marks only 3 months of dating. It sure seems like it has been almost a year now. We enjoy doing many random things together and can't wait til it is nicer out so we can be outside more often! As with every relationship, there have been bumps along the way, but we are each growing and pushing each other to grow and its been so good. I never in my wildest dreams would have thought I would be dating JJ..and liking it! Thats just to prove that God's plan is indeed always better =)

Well, it is Saturday and I was supposed to spend this day doing homework while JJ is working.... I guess it is only 10 am so I guess I haven't wasted too much of my day yet! Off to hit the books!
